Meet The Green Team: Helen Williams

We sat down with Helen Williams, People Performance Advisor at Peppermint Technology, to get to know a bit more about her and hear about what makes life at Peppermint so great!

How long have you been working at Peppermint?

5.5 years.

What’s your favourite memory of working at Peppermint?

The 80s Christmas party sticks in my mind – what great costumes. 

What has been your greatest achievement during your time working at Peppermint?

My greatest achievement is getting to grips with working in the tech industry. It was all new to me and a steep learning curve – definitely still learning!

Who do you enjoy working with the most at Peppermint?

I couldn’t possibly choose! My role means I work with people across all areas of the business and I love the variety. 

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I sing in a couple of choirs and every year get to perform with a professional orchestra at the Royal Concert Hall. I loved singing the Queen Symphony to Freddie Mercury’s sister who lives in Nottingham.

In my downtime I relax from busy family life by doing Pilates – a positive habit developed during lockdown.

Do you have any pets?

We have a guinea pig called Bella and I’m extensively lobbied by the kids about getting a dog…..

What would your dream holiday destination be?

I’d love to be planning a holiday to Australia to see my sister but in reality, it’ll probably be a camping trip or a trip to the in-laws in France.
