We caught up with our Product Manager, Emma France, who tells us all about her experience at ILTACON 2022 so far.
What has been the highlight of ILTACON so far?
“I really would say the chance to be here in person and meet people from all different backgrounds. It’s a great atmosphere here at ILTACON!”
Has there been a standout educational session for you?
“I’ve not had the chance to attend many so far, however I am really looking forward to Mike Walker’s masterclass session later today on how law firms can embrace and adapt to new modern working practices in a compliance-driven world. I’ve had a sneak peek at his slides and they are brilliant.”
With the past couple of years at ILTACON being virtual and hybrid, how does it feel to be attending the conference in person again?
“This is my first time at ILTACON so I can’t compare it with being virtual, however I can say that being here in person and seeing how excited everyone is to be back and seeing each other after such a long time has been a fantastic experience. The atmosphere has been amazing.”
How has ILTACON helped you with networking opportunities?
“I’ve been able to meet a whole host of different people, all working in different roles across the legal/legal tech industry. Not only do each of these people all have fascinating insights into the industry but we’ve also been able to chat and connect on a personal level too. Next time I attend ILTA there will be people I know!”
What have been your main takeaways from the event?
“That conferences and events are back! That message is definitely loud and clear which is really great to see!”
