Browne Jacobson selects Peppermint for Case Management and Matter Management

May, 31 - Nottingham, UK

Peppermint Technology, a leading global technology solutions provider to the legal market, and Microsoft partner, is excited to share our new partnership with top 50 UK & Ireland law firm - Browne Jacobson.

Browne Jacobson offers comprehensive legal services across the UK and internationally, with over 1,200 professionals dedicated to delivering a positive and solutions focused client experience. Guided by the firm’s values, and with a commitment to social and environmental impact at the forefront, they have gathered multiple awards and accreditations - most recently ranked as a Top Tier law firm across 27 key practice areas for the first time in Legal 500 UK 2024.

Browne Jacobson has embarked on a strategic program of technology investment to underpin the next wave of innovation in the way they service their clients. It was identified that a single Case Management and Matter Management platform, deployed across the firm, would be the keystone. This is because it will provide everyone with a single place to go in the morning, to access all the information and tools that they need to work effectively, providing a unified experience across the firm.

Following a comprehensive review of the market, the firm selected Peppermint’s Case and Matter Management platform due to:

• its ability to comprehensively reach users through the M365 suite where they are already working (e.g. Outlook and Teams), eliminating the need to context switch between different systems and applications.

• the platform’s flexibility in offering a tailored, friendly user experience, for both case management and matter management work-types.

• Peppermint’s ‘out-of-the-box’ accelerators that will enable the deployment of the platform at pace.

• its Microsoft Power Platform foundation, which aligns closely with the firm’s wider user of the Microsoft tech stack, and ensures they are well placed to capitalise on the opportunities presented by the new wave of AI innovation - such as Co-Pilot.

Abby Ewen, Technology & Operations Director at Browne Jacobson, shared “This has been an important decision at many levels and including many key stakeholders from across our firm. We chose Peppermint’s Case and Matter Management solution because it puts us in the best position to enhance how we serve our clients today, and to embrace the opportunities of the future, supported by a platform and partner that’s innovating as quickly as we are. I look forward to working with the Peppermint team as a strategic partner, to deliver our shared phase one goals and future strategy”.

Gary Young, Peppermint’s CEO, added “We are delighted that Browne Jacobson has chosen our Case and Matter solution. This decision reflects not only the strength of our software but also our shared focus on customer success. We look forward to a successful partnership, to working closely with Browne Jacobson with a client focused approach, and to helping them to achieve their ambitions.”
